The left is just mean.
Really, really mean.
Dan Grilo, a former Hillary Clinton volunteer, made fun of the pain of the widow of a fallen Navy SEAL who was honored in a tribute by president Trump during his congressional address.
As Trump said, “Our veterans have delivered for this nation—and now we must deliver for them,” cameras focused on an obviously shaken widow Owens as Trump continued, “Ryan died as he lived: a warrior, and a hero – battling against terrorism and securing our nation,”
Dan Grilo, not willing to miss an opportunity to kick the woman while she was down, tweeted:
“Sorry, Owens’ wife, you’re not helping yourself or your husband’s memory by standing there and clapping like an idiot.
Trump just used you.”
Grilo is a class act.
Wow.
His employer didn’t seem to think so though. I don’t know that he should have been fired. He just voiced his personal feelings. His statement was his own declaration of how much he enjoyed her pain. He was not speaking on behalf of his employer.
